Hi Did you resolve this? I have the same as you. Voltage to actuate unlock but 0V to lock. See a very momentary -Ve on the meter due to polarity reversing but no voltage. Any advice specifically related to the 0V issue (rather than replacing the locking mechanism which test fine on the bench) would be most appreciated. In UK so no separate in car switch for just filler cap lock. Only central locking buttons and remotes. Thanks in advance.

Just a tip that I found serves me well. I glued a small magnet into inside of the door area that keeps it gently closed so it would not fly open if the latch lock failed or even the gas attendant did not close the door properly.

Several years later follow-up, finally gave up and had shop replace the solenoid itself and that solved the issue. I think that was about 5 years ago, whew, time flies! Still driving the heap!
