WANTED, DESPERATELY: Radio/Equalizer for an '89 780 Bertone

I've got a musical problem.

I'm looking for a radio (TD-6146) and/or Equalizer (EQ-6016) in my '89 780 Bertone. Can't find a replacement. Radio gets power. EQ doesn't. Would like to replace both and troubleshoot. Anyone got a junked one/both sitting around?

Would also love to see creative stereo situations in your 780s. It's such a beautiful interior, I'd just hate to ruin it with a modern Pioneer blah.

I hope you keep the factory system. I had a '91 Bertone and considering what sound systems were like back then, sound quality is right there at the top of the line systems.
30 years old does not equal current offerings.
But to my old ears it was very adequate.
You get some bass and an EQ that actually does something.
But I'm also very content with my 960. Never felt the need to upgrade.

And most importantly original equipment that belongs there.

Go online and have your original repaired. In Tampa when I worked at the Buick dealership we sent radios and clusters to a place called Technicar. Here in Jacksonville its Auto Radio Service Inc. of Florida. Check with your dealership parts and find out where locally they send radios out for repair. June

I have three sets, all of which were working when they were removed from my various 780s over the years. I'll sell you a set and if for any reason they don't work, I'll send you another one. Send me a PM
