Interchangeable parts from v70 to 97 850 sedan? Topic is solved

Are blower motors, door handles, and glovebox interchangeable from v70 to 97 850? Anyone know what all parts (besides engine and fronts seats) are interchangeable between those 2 vehicles (850 is a sedan)?

This get complex but most non trim stuff will swap over until the famous 1999 year, and then it gets really complex.

Doors not interchangeable? Dashpad? Does this mean glovebox is interchangeable? Ignition switch is as well?

Doors swap
Trunks/ tailgates swap
Hoods swap as long as you remove and crush all egg crates

Dashboard is different , I don’t know about the pads

Doors will swap but door cards are not interchangeable and you will need to figure out how to make inside door handles to work since they are in different positions on both cars.
Wiring is different too,because power windows switches are in the door cards on s,v70.
Blower motor is the same....glovebox is not.

Grills are interchangeable.

Doors will mount but basically do not swap unless you want to do a lot of work to make the electronics work. I.e windows, door locks.

Tailgates swap! I don't think trunk lids do, however.

Blower motor maybe, they are definitely different but I can't remember if they swap over.

Glove box and almost all interior will not swap. Dash is like the doors - can swap the entire dash harness if you want it to work, otherwise forget it. Dash pad no. Ignition switch no. You can make the front seats work but it's not plug and play.

Note that 98-99-00 interior is all the same, though some of the interior wiring changed in 99. Engine management very different 99-00 but that's not what you asked about.

The big picture ...
for a 98 going to an 850: Almost all mechanicals yes, almost all interior parts no, most body parts yes.
for a 99 going to an 850: Much fewer mechanicals, interior (for the most part) and body as for 98.

If you guys mean on hood grill...Grills are not interchangeable...the hood on s,v70 is different shape.
