Rig that wire up, take the safety precautions noted above , and try that bypass.

Already feeling 100lbs lighter... removed the secondary air pump yesterday while the wife was on a call. Delete was done at the ECU a few days ago. 8)

Sigh... I really hope this is the magic fix. I don't know how I'll bring myself to junk this if this doesn't get my monitors ready for inspection.

What kind of coolant type do you want switch to?
Zerex G48
Ok great. Thanks.

The reason I asked is I have always been able to find Zerex G05 in both 50/50 and concentrate at Napa.
I searched napaonline.com and they also show both the 50/50 and concentrate G48 in stock and in store local to me.

If you have a Napa near you that might be a source for you. I have also found my local napa helpful when ordering things they don't typically stock. I know some people have bad experiences with napa but I like mine.

What drives me nuts about Zerex's current labeling is their 50/50 bottles clearly state they are 50/50 mix right on the front.
The concentrate? nothing...I believe their concentrate jug does mention mixing on the back but nothing on the front that mentions it being a concentrate.

So watch out for that.

Very clean brakes - I like the green ! Are drilled/slotted rotors a no no on these cars ? Just wondering...

And I think everyone has their fingers crossed. No one wants to see this turn out badly. Praying to the Volvo gods :)

My tip for the day

Intake manifold (IM) installation

4 M7 bolts into slotted holes on IM

4 M7 bolts up top into full holes On IM

One M8 bolt up from below through metal angle bracket shown below

My advice? Attach angle bracket to IM loosely with M8, after getting IM M7 bolts torqued, go back , insert lower M8 and M6 wiringharness bolts, tighten them to torque

Much easier than threading in M8 blind, upside down

Today my cars ac wasn't kicking on. I shut the engine, pulled the ac fuse (fine), pulled the relay and shook it (no rattle), and pulled the little electric wire that runs to the compressor and reconnected. Restarted the car and the ac kicked on but was cycling at idle, on the highway it stayed on without cycling. Temp was 91 plus humidity today.

I'll monitor it but cycling compressor in most cases means low freon, right?

Not with a COTS like our P80s

It has to be really cooking for 100% compressor duty cycle
