Found some suitably slippery snow/slush to test my newly repaired 2001 VC (vicous coupling) awd . As expected the rear wheels took time to activate as the oil needs to warm up but even with summer tyres (Pirelli Dragon) im surprised it moved uphill. No forward gear is used the car rolled downhill.
I live a 4 hour drive from this area, if i was a regular traveller i would get winter tyres as summer tyres are crazy slippery. Winter tyres are rare here and must be very expensive.
Behind the camera theres a steep drop off, the car was started sliding in that direction so i didnt dare try and correct it by turning.
The clunking noise at the end of video is the ABS.

18 pegs, just swapped out the angle gear and collar both had stripped splines. rear end hasnt been touched, i want to change the diff oil.
