The official name of this moving forward will be Financial Distress Parts Program. (-Pool).
I'll create a new FDPP contact form asking for name, model, year, and city. I don't know what city #2 is in.
With a comment field also.
Engine I'll throw in as an optional field... I think. I don't want to overwhelm people.
Also moving forward, let's consider all help requesters to be male so we don't have to use s/he and her/him etc.
Once again, if you need part(s), just contact me and I'll make it happen. You will remain anonymous, unless you choose to post here with your (first) name. That's up to you.

I have a suggestion, reading this entire thread is clunky, so some people may become disinterested...
I suggest that you have a dedicated forum similar to "Classified" forum, which stands by itself, but call it "Financial Distress Parts Program".
Ask people to start the Title with Year/Model/City and Need.
- So, if John Doe posted: "2001 V70 T5 Columbus OH, need Front Struts".
- If I happen to be nearby and have that spare part, I will respond "I have the V70 Front struts, feel free to come to pick them up" or I can exchange PM with the requester.
This way Matt you don't have to be the middleman, wasting your time.
- Once the problem is solved, the thread should be marked "SOLVED". Pretty much similar to Classified forum when an item is sold, we post "SOLD".

dsharp, thanks. I sent you an email with my address.
CN, I agree it's clunky. What I'll do will be minimal since interest/program use has been low: I'll update the head post in this topic with current status of each request. So we'll just pop in for a quick update. I'll post the link in that status update to the individual topics, like FDPP #2.

Hi Chris,
I own a 95 850 and am looking for the front corner lamp assemblies. Really only need the plastic lenses and the main housing. Don’t need the black bulb holder or springs. Most important is that the lenses are not cracked or broken. I’m located in Calgary and can travel to you. Don’t have much cash but would like to compensate you somehow. Please text me images of the lenses if you have them at 587-968-9818 at your convenience. Thanks so much!

CN90 and everyone, as you might have noticed in the last 10 minutes, I've modified my plan a bit to centralize the various FDPP statuses.
Here is the FDPP Status Thread.

After doing the timing belt stuff on my '00 V70XC, I decided to use most of my Rainy Day Fund to refresh the front suspension a month ago. On my way into DC for chemo at the VA hospital it suffered catastrophic head gasket failure; once I saw the needle swing up, it took some time to extract myself from the herd I was running with at 75, get to an exit and pull off. Motor seized at the stop sign. Expensive rollback ride back to my place in southern Delaware, and a frantic hour to get the project '98 V70R back on its hands and feet, I made it to the big city and back. The R wasn't really ready for Prime Time, but it's all I have to drive now.
One of the big issues made apparent now is the rear Nivomats are history; it's a real Flexible Flyer on anything other than straight-and-level.
The data plate shows it has 'M' suspension bits, and there is the remnant of a green stripe on one. While the recently deceased XC has Nivomats, it has the wrong code stuff, and I have the dream of eventually putting an engine in it (see 'Rainy Day ...etc. above).
Salvage yards in DE don't have many Volvos, and because I'm a man of a Certain Age, coupled with several underlying health issues, I shouldn't spend much time out in public anyway, even on the days I feel frisky enough to do do junkyard crawls.
So, here I stand, hat in hand, wondering if somebody in our little tribe can help me out of part of my predicament.
Thanks all, and thanks Matthew for setting up this link.
