I have three Volvos available for parts '97 960, '02 V70 (NA), '04 V70 (NA). I am getting complaints from neighbors, so I can't guarantee the duration of this offer. Located in SE Massachusetts, close to Providence, RI.

I was just at the junk yard today and they were about to crush a 2004 s60 T5 until I asked for the front struts. He asked me if I new anyone that would need something before they crushed it because of lack of demand. So I told him to let me reach out and see if you guys wanted to get something from the car or had any ideas. I can go pick them and ship out but that’s I could do at the moment

Have you all run into the issue of heavy things becoming very expensive to ship these days?

I just sent a starter core back and another small box of unused parts and a padded envelope with a special OEM washer in it and it totaled $80. The core return is only $50.

How is it affecting our FDPP?

Sometimes it is more cost effective to break one large heavy shipment into more two or more smaller lighter shipments.

I sent a starter to the east coast USPS priority mail from Kansas. 10 lbs. Shipping was around $15.00 .

Shipping is pretty expensive in general for heavier stuff. For cheap shipping, use Paypal to create a shipping label with USPS or UPS. Although if you use UPS (they're often the cheapest option for large or heavy items) purchase the label on UPS.com and use the code "EASY" to get a 20% or so discount.

I used to use the USPS flat rate box for the "Big Blue" delta link tool. That thing was heavy. It was about $15.
