This might be a batch issue rather than a part number issue

I’ve done two Conti belts recently this summer and had no problems

Fun fact, Contitech also makes bike tires. Not sure on the part number. But hey, I wanted to feel like part of the group!

Dayco makes quality belts but it's maybe not worth the confusion on sizing, I use what everyone else is using ...
I'm not as concerned about the serpentine belt as I would be about the timing belt.
I'll have the old belt in my trunk with the tools if it goes.

Yes....but if it wraps around crankshaft when it brakes(it happens)....it pulls the timing belt with it. ;)
