Ok, let's calm down please. This isn't a photography forum.

It's all good! I enjoy the interactions and there's no offense taken. Thanks for the info. I was only going to replace that short piece of rubber hose, but now I may reconsider. However for the difference in price, I may try a piece of silicon or something similar first. If it isn't working well, I'll replace the whole assembly. Thank you much.

I've got a break in the exact same spot as OP. Except, my Check Valve is also missing, so I can't just stick in a new hose.
I bought part #1280470 from FCP (https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo- ... vo-1270480), but the hose leading to where the driver sits is way too short. And it's clamped on with an Oetiker clamp, so I'm scared to remove it and try attaching a different hose. I've also already completely removed (and probably damaged in the process) my original EVAP hoses, so I need to get new parts in there.
Does anyone know where to get proper replacements for these hoses? I can't find them ANYWHERE online or videos of other people with the same issue. Feeling pretty clueless

Update: I inspected the original hose that I removed and couldn't find any cracks, so I guess I didn't damage it (despite pretty forcefully removing it). I decided to carefully reinstall it, albeit in a slightly different position than originally relative to all the other hoses shoved in there.
Then, I decided to just wing it with the parts I ordered. I snapped off the Oetiker clamp, removed the hose from the driver-side check valve (which was surprisingly difficult), and then snipped the other hoses as needed to fit into my system. I've driven ≈20 miles. No check engine light yet. My car also doesn't reek of gasoline anymore, so I think it's fixed?
I'll update again if the error code returns.
