Another blower is your dryer machine at home. It usually runs on bushing, not ball bearings. If it squeals, just add a tiny bit of oil (1-2 drops) and a tiny bit if grease at the interface btw the shaft and the bushing. It will run "forever"...

The washing machine runs on ball bearings.

Just thought I would follow up.

Install went fine. I did read a review on the part that I bought complaining that the holes in the motor were not tapped for the screws that secure the motor to the shroud. Yes, the holes are not tapped, but I figured the screws might be self tapping and sure enough that worked.

Now that I know the exact location of the recirc inlet and after I put everything back together I noticed that if you open the glove compartment there is a gap above the back of the glove box where you can spray Lysol and get it directly into the inlet. Noted for future reference should A/C get musty.

I did notice that 1A Auto parts had replacement for cheaper $88 and it includes the shroud, but I was not too sure about the quality. It it probably OK, but having been burned by cheaper parts in the past I chickened out and went with the Behr part from FCP.

I do have one last question. For those that have lubed the motor, do you completely remove the motor or has anyone tried lubing it while in place? Should it my new one ever start to make noise, I think I am just going to remove the one screw(maybe two) and pop that one cover off and try oiling it with a zoom spout oiler.

You cannot lube it in situ.

Once the blower motor is out, lubing it is very very easy.
Just sit on your deck with a beer while you wait for oil to trickle down, patience is a virtue.
