The color and the appearance of it having collected in the forward seam suggests a slurry to me.
Driving over fresh white paint stripes on a dirt road in the rain lately?

Can you gouge out a sample with a veining tool (please excuse the wood carving tool reference) and burn it? The resulting flame can sometimes help ID.

Does the location of pricks (either inside or outside) help answer the Porsche/Porcupine question?

A quick update: it turned out to be the engine mount. Whatever oil/hydraulic fluid is in there caused a stain that is impossible to get rid of but once I took it out it was quite obvious where the fluid was leaking out (and barely any fluid was left inside of the mount). Here's a picture:Image

Replacing the mount turned out to be fairly easy, though in the process of replacing it I found out that pretty much all of the other mounts (especially the torque mount connected to the transmission) are shot.. So it's time for some more repair works

Thanks a lot to everyone helping me out, seems like the porcupines haven't won (yet)
