Taillight 2006 VS 2007 XC90

Hello I have a cracked taillight and there is a difference between the two years on the outside. So I was wondering will the older 2006 still bolt in and use the same bulbs.

The price at the junkyard is the reason why.

The bulb layout on the older style taillight is different, so the bulbs don't go right into the housing. I can't confirm if it plugs right in or not, but I assume it does.

I understand the price difference being a concern... it took me forever to find a good '07+ taillight in the junkyard for ours. For some reason, the '07+ tails are a hot item.
