Washer fluid not working

Post by qwertyjjj »

Both front washer sprayers are unblocked.
Washer fluid is full bit nothing coming out when I pull the wash handle.
Both wipers working and fuse is fine.
Is there a pump fuse somewhere?
I don't hear the pump running but can't find a fuse for the pump - is it combined with the wipers?

- Probably dead washer pump, which is unusual bc the Denso pump lasts a long time.
- I may have a pump lying in my garage shelf somewhere...

Search forum but I believe it is behind the front bumper...
Get on the ground and look up the R side of the bumper...

PS: In my 2004 V70, I clamp shut the hose feeding the headlight lenses and unplug the wires toward the HL wiper motor to decommission the HL system bc I don't want to waste fluid. Every time I activate the washer system, fluid goes to the windshield glass and not to the HL.
