2008 C70 and Hankook Venus S1 Noble 2 Tires

Hi,

I put these tires on my C70 about a year ago and they say the tires are hankook's ultra performance tire. I live in Florida and have noticed that when driving in the rain at about 60mph, it feels as though the car will slip and the cars traction control comes on more frequently then I would think to be normal. Does anyone know about these tires or why this would be happening? I realize that driving in the rain should be much slower, but there is no reason that pickup trucks should be passing me. Do you think it is because the steering is pretty loose in the c70 and any tire would have the same problem?

The Hankook's that you selected are not very highly rated for we traction

If you need to drive 60 MPH in the pouring rain then you may want to select something else

It is possible that something in the suspension is worn and that is the source of the poor handling

Are all four tire wearing evenly?

When the Hankook's were new they should have 10/32" tread depth

How much tread is remaining?

Check the tire wear, if the wheel alignment is off you will have terrible high speed wet traction...especially if it's raining hard enough to make big puddles on a highway.
