Exactly! I even have a mailbox in Niagara Falls NY that I have been using for years for car parts. Unfortunately, damn COVID has put a halt on my trips across the Rainbow Bridge.

Okay. I just got home and installed the 460 ECU. The car started and ran, albeit with a low idle of roughly 3-400rpm and a CEL: EFI-445 Pulsed secondary air injection system pump signal. I have started Googling that with limited results thus far.

Is the SAS system working on your car currently? (Or do you have any idea?) It's possible it was dead to begin with and the VAST ECU was set to ignore those codes (I've done that on our car, as the system is removed). That code is for the air injection pump, it's wiring, or the relay.

The low idle is odd, but you also have bigger injectors in the car currently.

Having it start and run is a step up, though.

My car does not have the SAS system. As far as I know, and please correct me if I'm wrong, that wasn't there until '98. Hence the code with the 460 ECU; it is looking for something that is not there.

Well, our '97 GLT has it...Well, had it. It was dead when we bought the car, so originally I did the diode bypass in the original ECU, but now that we have the ability to flash the ECU, I just disable the diagnostics for it in the tune.

The pump is under the driver's front side, and there is an extra hose that runs to the front of the air filter assy, if it's there.

I stand corrected. Thank you, sirs.

That said, I have another update. I went and re-downloaded and reflashed the original tune from Vast and the tempermental jerk now has spark! It now behaves like the other ECU's; starts and runs but won't idle. I drove around my neighborhood for a few minutes, which was "fun" left foot braking so I could keep my right foot on the gas to keep from stalling.

I also no longer have a CEL. I sent Vast a quick log, but it was crap as I kept stalling from the left foot braking fiasco.

Tomorrow I begin troubleshooting to see why she won't idle, as well as trying to figure out why I magically have spark now.
