I'm talking about pushing the whole knob straight downward. Like give it a few sharp pops with your open palm/heel of your hand, make sure it is fully seated on the shaft. The knob should be hard to remove if it is properly installed, you have to really pull hard to break it loose usually.plumsmooth wrote: 05 Oct 2020, 18:36 Not sure what you mean. If the button feels sticky, I'd pull the knob off and check the button like that, too. If the button is not sticky with the knob removed, you may be right about lubrication further down. But if the button is sticky even with the knob removed, I'd spray something in there to clean it up, it may be gummy around the button. Maybe for ease of knob removal check this before you fully seat the knob downward.
