Temperature Gauge / Sudden Low Battery Voltage

FAULTY TEMPERATURE GAUGE
Lucky for me, I ordered a genuine sensor last Friday and I got it Monday by noon. Yippie, for Anchorage, Alaska postage.
I could not wait to install the sensor. With he engine running. heat and fan at high, and filling the coolant, the gauge started rising. That was nice to see. Yesterday and today, drove it around the block with the coolant tank cap a little opened, I only refilled the tank when I got home. I went about two blocks. So, I would say, the temperature gauge is now working.

LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE
About the sudden low battery voltage, after replacing the CTS. I gave it a boost charge. It's been days now, no more issues. I don't know why it happened in the first place. Oh well, all is well in that front.

sometimes, when a component is missing from a circuit it turns something else on.
An example is when the door controller is unplugged , the footwell lights will not shut off and will run the battery down.
