What is the correct size of rear wiper and blade for Volvo V70 2004?

Hello.

I am trying to figure out the correct size and part number for the rear wiper blade and arm for my 2004 Volvo V70 5 Cylinders 2.4L MFI DOHC 146 CID. I bought already 3 pairs but all of them are too long and the wiper blade is sticking out.

For now, the wiper blade length is 14.5 inches and it sticking out. I lost myself. There is no information in the Manual, I can't find anything on the internet. All that I found is that I need part number 8662751 and 30753767. It's too long.

Maybe I am using the incorrect arm?

Can somebody recommend how to find the correct size/part number?

I just checked my 2003 V70. The blade is just shy of 16". For replacement I purchased one of those $4.00 Walmart blades and removed the rubber blade along with the two metal stiffeners that are imbedded in the slots in the rubber. I may have cut the aforementioned "shyness" from the 16" blade and stiffeners. Then I sandwiched the two stiffeners and rubber blade back together and slid them into the Volvo holder making sure that it is adequately locked in and not too narrow for the grips on the holder.

Want the easy way out?
Try Trico 16" refill, the refill, not the whole blade.
It takes less than 60 sec to replace the refill.

PS: Or try Trico 47-600 Refills and cut it to factory length.

Cn90, where do you get Trico refills? I can’t find them at the local auto parts stores any more.

The correct size of blade for this model is 12 inches.

Interesting,

- Is yours factory or has it been replaced before?

- I think 2004 V70 rear wiper is 16". Autohausaz dot com website clearly states 16" for the rear wiper.

It has been replaced. I bought this car with this arm.
If the rear wiper must be 16 or 14 inches long, I suppose that the arm needs to be shorter. I bought already 3 different kits (16, 14.5, 14) and all of them are too long. I am totally confused.

The factory PN is 30649040.
I have a 2004 V70 and 2005 XC90 2.5T, exactly the same PN for both of these vehicles.
I just measured my XC90, it is certainly 16" long:

PS: However, this is rear wiper, so it is not that crucial, just use whatever Trico refill and cut it to whatever length that fits your existing wiper and you will be fine. Don't sweat over this stuff, whatever works is fine.
