Starting picking a 2011 XC90 as a donor for the CEM and wiring harness. First and second row seating was already picked. That saves some time.

Third row seating is a PITA. One bolt is buried. Cannot use a socket and a wrench has maybe 45° to turn. I can get one finger on the bolt to guide me to the bolt which I cannot see.

Did pick up a battery. Voltage was 150 mV when I got it home. So low I had to jump start the charger with a 12V power supply. Six hours on pulse charge and it is up to 8V. A series of three stage 2A trickle charges to bring the condition back to good. Then let it float charge until I need it.

You may be able to save it, I was actually able to save an AGM battery from my brother's new E34 project that was at 2 volts. It's actually held a charge after sitting for a week.

I got it fully charged but the electrolyte is out of equilibrium. Which is expected after a deep discharge, 13.48 V after 6 hours of rest. It will work itself back to equilibrium over the next couple of weeks as the stratified electrolyte diffuses. I will leave it on float charge. The little bit of gas that is produced will help mix and diffuse the electrolyte.

The Junk Yard Volvo battery is recovering. 12.97 Open Circuit Voltage down from 13.48 OCV. Doing good for a battery that was drained to 150 mV and been sitting for at least 6 months.

Getting close to finishing the under dash and in dash electricals. Then it is on to the rest of the cabin and rear electricals.

Probably about time to send the Donor CEM-L, New keys and New Remotes to Yagger for programing.

Fabricated the dash to fit the Audio center from the XC90.
This will gain me Phone Bluetooth, Satellite radio and Parking assist. Still need to do the detailing but it is in.

I am almost done with the rewiring. Got everything from the firewall back except:
1. Tail lights.
2. Trunk lid.
3. Rear Bumper Antenna.
4. Radar in rear bumper.
5. Two mystery harness that dive under the car at the Fuel pumps. The XC90 harness does not have any corresponding connector. I think I'll wait until I fire up the network and see that it tells me.

Still need to wire the Headlights and the Coolent fan in the engine compartment.

I think what the books call the Antenna amp for the bumper Antenna is in fact just a passive filter. I'll need to crack open one and see whats in there. If it is a passive filter I might be able to cook up a solution for the Bumper Antenna.

I am not going to do the rear differential at this time. I going to get it up and going as a front wheel drive, deal with the AWD later.

Had to dummy load a Airbag Igniter in the steering wheel and the front passenger side. The Newer US and CA cars have three stage Air Bags where the ROW has two stage. 2004 US and CA is two stage.

Changed out the fuel pumps today. The donor car at the PYP yard was full of fuel. They better hope the EPA does not find that. That is the same car I found the battery in. Somebody in their prep area is cutting corners.
