A real sucky moment was when i had to pull a whole engine just to be able to get room for fixing a turbo pressure hose inlet whose threads where gone. I had just bought it and my plan was a quick flip. That was not fun.

Google claims a cheater pipe is a length of hollow pipe used to extend leverage on a wrench. I assume this is in lieu of a breaker bar? If so, where does the term "cheater" come from?
What is a vise grip? Google didn't bring up any one single tool, the most common results were locking pliers (or Mole grips here in the UK), but it also brought up lots of results for various locking clamps, adjustable clamps, and adjustable wrenches.
Is a pipe wrench a Stillson? Or does a pipe wrench also cover flat jawed variants, making pipe wrench an umbrella term for all adjustable wrenches?
Lastly, gas wrench...huh?

Assuming the translations are correct then your list looks very similar to mine. If you have tape though, then the bandaids (plasters) are superfluous! What I call a Stillson is invaluable if you have the access to use it. I'd also add an impact driver to that list, though I only have the small manual versions.

I think cheater comes from the fact that you don’t buy a longer breaker car.

Vice a Grip or ( vise grip ) and mole grip are the same. viceGrip is a registered trademark, so the off brand guys call them “ locking pliers”

I think Pipe wrench and Stillson are interchangeable. Stillson was used in my house but my Dad was from Tipton!

I think "cheater" came about because you are "cheating" the amount of leeeverage (that's British) your bar was supposed to come with. Some friends and I recently blew apart my NAPA breaker bar trying to get the collar nut back on a 356 crankshaft to the required 300 ft lbs (300???). Two guys holding the engine on a stand, me hanging off a 3 or 4 foot pipe on the breaker bar, and bouncing! BAM!! We guessed we got it to 250 -ish, and that was good enough.

Trivia on Vise Grip locking pliers: They were originally made in Dewitt, Nebraska by the inventor William Peterson. Later the company was purchased by Irwin tool, part of Stanley Black and Decker. The Nebraska plant closed in 2008. I think the best VIse Grip pliers were made in Nebraska and buy the old ones when I find them.
