While we are on the subject of check valves. Does anyone have a P/N for those for replacement? Again I've seen some generic VACCUUM check valves but not sure if it would be compatible with an EVAP system? I've got an P0422 I've been chasing for nearly a year and I'm wondering if one of those check valves may be bad

Much of my time during the job is spent hauling things up and down the stairs to the basement or in and out of the storage shed, or running back downstairs when I realize I need something else,or taking a break from standing out in the sun,or using flashlights or work lamps when it gets dark.

I believe they are NLA from Volvo but generic ones or junkyard will be fine. They fail less frequently than ECUs

Hi all,
My XC70 has the precise same issue as in Mikele82's photo above. Since the hose attaches to unit (forgot the exact name), does the hose pull off? Those units are metal in my '04. And, did the part number get posted?
I'd like to replace that hose myself, doesn't look too difficult.

thanks all,
