Classic BMWs are going for bonkers prices. That sample is not only re-painted, but comes with replaced engine and "Batwings"(!).

A first-gen M3 just sold for a quarter-million dollars https://www.autoblog.com/2020/07/22/198 ... a-trailer/ Those are 4-cylinder cars.

Not Volvos, hell not even cars. I'm not too into motorcycles, but this is cool.

I've owned a few bikes, but not any longer. This is a good reminder why newer/better isn't always better, in anything. Also a reminder of the importance of objective testing.

They hit a beautiful balance between methodology and easy watchin'. They're likable and the put together a darn good video. That was probably several hundred man-hours of work.

Bandini-Fiat 1100, circa 1952. From a vintage Motorsport magazine. Cared for by the very dapper Perry Fina of Perry's Garage, NYC.

I am a sucker for any car magazines - old or new. I can read and reread them. I think the best car magazine ever was Automobile founded in 1986 by ex Car and Driver writer David E. Davis. Oversize, glossy color, and interesting articles.

A friend went to an auction in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. A metal shed full of funky old and not so old cars. He bought a huge box of vintage sports car magazines and brand new (old) BMW factory brochures back into the 60s. New 1968 BMW 2002 brochures and color guides. 2800 and 3.0 CS coupe brochures.

All for a dollar.
