940 Relay? ECU ? IDK Runs on Ether / Pump runs ?

I have a 93 940

It ran great ... Then

I shorted out the radio interference relay replacing the battery.

I swapped in a relay from the yard, new wires - took it to a legit Volvo shop - they begrudgingly got the wiring correct but now it will not run when I turn the key.

IF I run a Hot Wire directly to the pump the pump runs.

IF I spray ether into the intake it will fire.

Electrical has never been my strong point

What's my damage ?
