I'm new here though I've been stalking for months
I'm having Water leak issues with a 2007 XC90 & I've tried everything here and online so posting here maybe someone has an idea how this can be fixed.
History.
The car was parked for months and the first time it was driven had water pouring in both footwells.
It was getting on the CEM too so got a lot of errors on the DIM and so many things (passenger power seat, 12v socket, ddm, etc stopped working)
- I checked the Sunroof Drains on both A-pillars (both were clear)
- I checked both drains under the plastic Windscreen cover (they were blocked with mud) and cleared them which stopped water getting in the passenger side
- sealed the CEM's plastic cover with sillicon
- Sealed the Windscreen all around
I also took the CEM apart and cleaned with isopropyl alcohol which fortunately resolved all the error messages and got the passenger seat and co working but,
I'm still getting water drip on the left side of the CEM when it rains or I wash and I've no idea where else this can be coming from.
I pulled out the CEM and took a photo of where I see the water coming from.

Some of the Windshields have bonding issues on the Windshield seal. Check the seal around the Windshield. A leak on the top can drop on the headliner then run down a different path then the inside of the Windshield.

I'd check this too.
I'd probably pour water from different points because at times it seems like it's been solved than a heavy thunderstorm comes along.
