Those look just like the bulbs in the dash on most P80's. I have not found any with the blue coating on them. Honda also uses a similar bulb.

That's what I thought. These do have nice little hex heads that the regular neo's I had don't have.

Somehow I had four of these in stock. No idea why I ordered them or for what.
I found anOsram number for them, for under a buck.
39118
Everyone wants to sell LEDs for $5 each. No thank.
Is it possible to pull the radio and reach around the dash and replace the dash lights?
Easier with the dash out

Did you ever figure out how to replace the bulbs in the MCC unit? It doesn't slide out like the ECC due to all the cable connections.
I think they are T5 bulbs, but I might be wrong. Is is possible to replace the bulbs with the radio removed or you have to pull the dash and disconnect linkage to be able to remove the two torx screws at the back/bottom of the MCC unit to separate the white plastic part from the black part?

It does come out
Pull off the knobs
Now release the Torx screws and the face plate releases
The base part of the unit towards the FRONT of the car , clips into the dash and comes out backwards. You can release the cables from the actuators pretty easily
Got that wrong.,...see link in next post
The bulbs and such get replaced in that unit
Careful with that MCC control unit. No aftermarket and rare in junkyards. They are 400+ on eBay

So, there is the black part with the knobs, I get how that comes off, unplugs, set it aside.
Then there is the white part where the bulbs live, which is held in with screws to the dashboard. Once those screws are removed, are you saying the white part can be disconnected from the cables and pushed forward towards the engine (to come down and out through the radio slot?) or that you can pull it towards you, disconnect the cables and it comes out in the same direction as the radio? I haven't been wanting to pull or jerk on anything too hard for fear of stretching or breaking the cables.
Since it seems these bulbs get + and - power from the metal on the front side of the plate, it might be possible to solder a new bulb with wire leads right onto the face from inside the car without removing the whole unit. I tested it with a small LED lamp and the bulb lit up, so I know there is power to that circuit.

The main body of the MCC controller comes out backwards , towards rear of car. I think it spring clips into the side of the trim
You disconnect the bicycle type control wires to remove it completely
