How to Thank someone for their post
Hello, Bought it 7 years ago from the guy who won a contest. Was an “Awesome” restoration by Castrol. Done lots to it since. All complete new brakes, new gas tank,injectors, AAV rebuilt. Added air filter with housing, charcoal canister, didn't have either when I got it. Replaced most rubber trim, lights, grille etc.Cooling system, heater, etc. Rewired headlights and a few other things. Still lots to go. Current activity is cleaning up under carpet and panels, soundproofing interior, heatblok, etc. Have a spare crossmember to rebuild as the one on the car has a hole on the bottom, pulled out a rats nest, pretty rusty. Finish the suspension rebuild and lots of little things. Winter here, so it doesn’t go out till the spring, have a heated garage.

"The club’s purpose is to encourage the ownership, proper operation, maintenance and restoration of all vintage Volvos and to serve as a source of technical information and exchange. As of 2003, VSA has opened its membership to any owner of an out of production model Volvo.
"Local chapters throughout the United States and Canada and around the world hold regular meetings, technical sessions, swap meets, and various other events to help members care for their Volvos. National meets are held on an occasional basis on east and west coasts."
