cant find anything online. when i open the NHTSA website it says the Volvo xc70 has 2 recalls but for the life of me where does it say what they are?found some other interesting things like sunroof exploding without warning.

It's a recall applicable only in high humodity states, so it won't show up in the global recalls

interestingly this is my 2002xc70 parts car pass side airbag (not the airbag in question), it is marked 2013? OR is that the year it expires?? our cars are nearly 20 years old

Technically the expiration , but in our markets at least, a memo came out that air bags are now considered lifetime items

Our P80s have stickers on them which all expired 10+ years ago

Just a suggestion, many people here on the forum don't usually check the 'sticky' posts on a daily basis, myself I found this post by chance.

For the V70 XC70 maybe someone can remove one at the junkyard and tell
They recall cars in "high humidity" states, which is the same places where the Takata recall took place. However, it is interesting to notice that in Canada all cars were called for Takata, regardless of the region. For now, Canada doesn't have a Volvo inflator recall and it's said not have been received complains but this is Canada, complains and lawsuits are uncommon here
