Volvo gray/grey trim paint

Im finding it difficult to re-paint some interior plastic trim. I bought some Dupli-color gray bumper paint but the colour doesnt match and even used a plastic undercoat it scratches off very easily. 2nd attempt i bought a VHT vinyl-plastic dye, the colour match is really close but the dye is very thin and runs very easily even with alot of practice.

Apart from getting some paint mixed up which is about an hour drive anyone find an online off the shelf alternatives?

Wipe the cleaned plastic down with a rag damped with Acetone, damp not soaking wet. That will remove oils from the surface plastic. Wash your hands with Acetone before handling parts. That will keep skin oils off the parts.

Leather and Plastic dye - Volvo colors.

Also You could soak the parts in fabric dye and let it sink in.
