What is blown turbo yet drives fine?

If he has not cleaned the fragments out of the Charge pipes, Intercooler and Intake manifold it is a catastrophe failure waiting to happen. Fragments can work their way into the cylinder. Metal Fragments are not compressible in a cylinder.

Most of the time a Turbocharged engine is running naturally aspirated.

Has anyone here had a turbo break apart? I hope it's on the exhaust side. The seller did not reply.

I don't love that line. I'd like to know how he came to the conclusion that the turbo is "blown." Probably having boost issues, like a bad TCV or a vacuum leak maybe. One can hope...

I'll try and contact the owner again this weekend. If it drives do you think it's worth it?

As long as it all checks out, it's probably a $2,500 car. Hopefully the rear struts were replaced with the proper Monroe Four C struts and not just some cheapo eBay specials
