Almost like getting a new car. Can swap parts all day but it's work to keep the body and interior from aging.

P2 S60 cars really don't bring much on the used market.

Impractical for a family and not sporty enough for the enthusiast, unless it's an R.

It probably would! That would be an awesome project. Engines are easy to source, just find a B5244T5 and swap everything over.

I’d still take the S70 over all of them. Although that S80 looks pretty nice!

Now if that S80 was a V8.... I’d be slightly less likely to pick the S70, but I still would.

Thanks! The S80 is fast, elegant and would be for my wife's but the other two, though she would drive it is mostly for my tinkering enjoyment. I'm not sure I am capable of properly checking out a V8 though it's the engine I would like to see in our next Volvo. Dilemmas, dilemmas.
