Reverse lights not working after tail light lens replacement

Today i replaced the tail light lenses on my 850. This led to the reverse lights not working. I took care not to damage anything in the process. Any clues as to what might be the issue?

Are you sure they were working before you started swapping the light covers over?

It has actually been bothering me that maybe they weren't working before either. I actually never really checked. However the left rear turn signal stopped working at the same time and now when i turn the left turn signal on the left front annd side turn signals blink rapidly.

Usually that’s bad grounds or the bulb isn’t seated right

How do i fix bad grounds and where is this stuff? Sadly i don't know anything about electricity.

Worthy of mention is that everything else works. Only left turn signal and reverse lights are gone. Some have suggested that the pnp switch might cause the reverse lights to not come on but i have no error codes from the TCM. It would also be strange if the pnp switch stopped working simultaneously as i replaced the tail light lenses. I noticed that at the bottom of the tail light assembly inside the D-pillar are metal clamps attached directly to the body. Inside these clamps were plastic connectors with wires going through them. What are these things?

Where you are needing something identified, it is best to try to post a picture if you can.

For the turn signal not working then it is often just the bulb or the bulb holder that needs cleaned and re-fitted, or the bulb has failed.
