I bought one of these seat occupancy sensors online to test and im so impressed with it ive fitted it to all three rear seat positions. I have rear seat passengers who like to sneaky unbuckle while enroute, so this is a real safety improvement, there is also heavy penalties for passengers caught not wearing seatbelts in my state. ..and no this sensor does not supply mains voltage, thats phase 2.

You can wire a spare coil to the seat belt so that undoing your belt delivers a shock to the occupants.
