That's a result of the cache work. It's the lesser of two evils.
Technically, it's a last-resort setting to limit the load on the server. After the cache purge at the network level, the server was busy fulfilling requests and tripped the load limit.
It's better to do this than have pages time out https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/doc ... Status/408 because requests come in faster than they can be satisfied.
It should fix itself now that user's browsers are caching more on repeat visits.

Re: login issues?
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.
Also -> Amazon link. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

Ok try now. I think I broke it after I fixed it. Completely normal behavior here.

The site does have 'Volvo" in its name.
I noticed right before that happened that the site was almost frozen. Changing pages wasn't easy to do, or very fast.

Hi Matt,
Not sure if you had a chance to look at this but it's still same. It seems like I'm really logged into the other member's account as the drop down menu works and allows me to log out. I'm not bother by any of this though so no worries.

Hi BKM
That looks like you're logged in, and viewing Alschnertz's profile memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=38095
Meaning, as far as I can tell from here, it's expected behavior.

Everytime I open my browser to login that's the name it shows me logged in as. Doesn't matter what browser I use on my phone, mobile data or wifi, it's still the same. Same as my tablet and my laptop. All running different browsers, but showing me logged in as Alschnertz each time. (I wipe all browsing data, and cookies, and it makes no difference.) So far I've used Chrome, IE, Edge, Firefox, DuckDuckGo, and I've tried several other browsers I've downloaded from Google Play on my phone.matthew1 wrote: ↑16 Dec 2020, 17:13 Hi BKM

It can't just be a coincidence that we're seeing the same username when pulling the website up.

When I do any web search, and the forum shows up in the results, more times than not when I click the link to go to the forum post all I see is an xml page which goes to the above link. It doesn't matter what Volvo search I'm doing, they all take me to the link posted.

Hi Matt,
I think I know how I got there and I just confirmed it. After logging in I opened MVS again in another tab using the link on my Speed Dial. It opens to the same problematic page and when I tried to use the drop down menu to check the profile it went to alschnertz's profile but the user name does change to mine. The problem I have is also exactly as gnalan describes in the previous post. Thanks.
OH, I'm a little slow here but the page is stuck on December 9th!
(EDIT: Which is the same page gnalan is stuck on!)
