Hello everyone,
My friend talked me into buying a 1999 Volvo V70 GLT for cheap. I am new to the Volvo ownership and busy trying to trouble shoot what may be the problem. Today I was taking off the intake manifold to get into PCV unit and went to remove a plastic piece from vacuum lines. I found a part # on it which is >PA6 GF30<. I have googled the part number with no items matching the description. If anyone could tell me what it is I would appreciate it.
Thanks In Advance
Changing out PCV Broke this and don't know what it's called.

It is a booster venturi. It makes vacuum for the brake booster (it would be a booster venturi even if it made vacuum for any other reason).
Backflow across this makes vacuum to help the power brake booster have more assist in suddenly closed throttle situations where vacuum may have bled off brake booster. In some situations the throttle may not close fully when you lift off pedal for emissions reasons. This would delay manifold vacuum build and you'd have an "Oh Shoot" moment when your brake pedal is hard. I think it only comes with the hose.

Volvo usually calls them "vacuum ejectors" or "ejector valves" (though jimmy's term is more correct, I think). You need part # 30665561, I think. Don't take that as written in stone.
FCP has them for 50 bucks or so.

Do I have this on my T5?
I'm glad jimmy was quick because I would have ID it, incorrectly , as part of the 1999 PCV system until I looked closer at it and saw it was wrong
Interesting, FCP lists it for 2001- on in V70, but back to 1999 for S80

50'USD for Volvo, 24 USD for aftermarket
