2006 V70R - Suspension Module Removal Procedure

Post by StoutmanV70R »

The suspension module (SUM) 30739073 is bad on my 2006 V70R (6-spd, 80k miles). Can anyone provide some guidance on how to access the SUM. All I can find are crude diagrams that indicate that it's buried somewhere under the dashboard. My plan is to replace it and have my dealer reload the software. Thanks.

I understand it is under the carpet along the driver's right (on my 2004 V70R MT - 175k+ miles) which is why mine developed corrosion and finally failed during a downpour due to clogged drains in the sunroof - setting off all kinds of fault warnings. My mechanic reset the codes and everything is fine -- except-- the module has failed. They are no longer remanufactured and he was unable to source one. Were you able to source one and have it programmed? My part # is 0030669253

I have the same problem that @v70rspg had. IS there a solution to fix or rebuild the module?
