I have a Volvo DICE unit (not China) with bluetooth indicator light on. I run VIDA on Windows 7 (VIDA 2014D). The built-in laptop bluetooth is able to detect my DICE as I see in Control Panel. However, I cannot find DICE in my VIDA->Perform Computer Setting. If I use USB to connect to DICE, then the DICE can be detected and work normally in VIDA. Why is my bluetooth detection not working?
I searched the manual, it says I need the Ezurios Bluetooth adapter to connect my DICE unit using Bluetooth and I cannot use the bluetooth from my laptop.
Must I have the Bluetooth adapter for my DICE to work on my laptop?
Do I need extra configuration in VIDA?
How to connect DICE to VIDA using BlueTooth? Failed

Not sure anything other than the dongle that's designed to work with DiCE is able to work. I, too, have an authentic Volvo DiCE so I'm curious to see if there's another way to get Bluetooth to work. My laptop has built-in Bluetooth, but I haven't tried it yet to see if it works. USB works just fine, as long as you don't mind sitting in the car while you use it.
