Yes, that’s a faulty switch. It is not reliably closing the contacts when in the On position

I wish I knew how to read schematics. Just never had the head for it, or how to use a multimeter. It's basically witchcraft. I'm struggling trying to get an LED to light up with an Arduino that 3rd graders play with :lol: .

My wife keeps telling me I need a new car. Went and looked at a Lincoln MKC. Nice car. But a decade old V70 I tested drove better. I do like the newer XC90's too.

Don't know anything about the newer Volvo's (except I like the interiors and exteriors) but really, really worry about all the electronic components (and $$$). And honestly, after test driving some electric cars, they are so much nicer.

New brake light switch is here. Works perfectly now. Ahhh....

So this is pretty clear, I guess all these switches are basically the same?
