[V40] ABS Problem

Hello Everyone ! This is My first post in this Forum. Im from Poland.

My car: VOLVO V40 1,9 TD - 1998 year of production.

I have problem with ABS in my V40.

On the control panel two indicator lights are shining: ABS and (!).

In the VOLVO service copmputer say:

441 - VALVE (VALUE) POWER SUPPLY - ??
443 - POMPMOTOR ABS - ??

Please help me for interpretations of these errors which he demonstrated

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

The second warning light showing is the brake warning lamp.

The two codes that you have quoted are both an indication that the ABS system has intermittent electrical faults to the control unit.

Check fuse 12 in the relay/fuse box to see if it has blown or the contacts are dirty giving intermittent power to the system. Also check all the leads to the ABS control module to see if any of them have bad or dirty contacts or bad insulation which would allow an intermittent earthing (grounding) of the power supply.

Hello,
I have an '99 V70XC and the car's ABS module had to be changed. OK, I did it. Bought the part at IPD.
My neighbour has a '98 V40 2.0 and the ABS module is gone. I tried to find the part at IPD, but they don't have it. I could only find it at TheVolvosite.com
Does anybody knows this seller?
