problems with disc changer - '93 850 GLT

I need help reconnecting what must be the power chords to the disc changer in the trunk of my GLT, there are 2 cables (one black and one green with black stripes) that are hanging freely, how do i go about reonnecting them? I've tried a few different ways, and one produced spark and the others nothing, if i did reconnect successfully would the radio automatically pick up the connection to the cd player? or would i need to reset the radio?

sparks == bad

There should be a round connector that plugs into the changer... that's what you need to connect.

The head unit will know when the changer is present. Hope you didn't kjill anything.

is the "round connecter" an 8 pin connection? because if it is, that is connected...the problem is with a rectangular black piece of plasticwhere 2 wires are housed and seems that these other two wires connect into
