Need vacuum hose connection id.

Post by rickbrk »

I have a 1991 940 se with turbo. It's new to me and I'm new to Volvo's and was giving it a good going over to see which vacuum lines need to be replaced. Can someone help id 2 connections. The first comes off the manifold and the hose goes along the firewall to the driver's side and has a screw in it to plug it off.(port circled in red)

Second pic. Is a soda can sized black unit mounted to the driver's side inner fender. It has a few small vacuum lines coming from it. First, what is that part and second the nipple in green, is it supposed to have a vacuum line on it? I can see any line close to it that are not connected.

Hi, second picture looks like a vacuum pump maybe for cruise control. The white end is left open to atmosphere.
