It takes about a month in the cold to adapt. I’m now working outside in weather I was really uncomfortable in , one month ago.

It got up to 30 this weekend so I finished the suspension work on the XC70. Cold tools still!

Heavy 7 mil gloves under work gloves give me an hour or two of work time without too much pain

I point a space heater at the tools and/or tool box. I especially like to hang the ratchets on the little bar across the front of the space heater. Of course my hands still get chilled.

But yes, if you are cold then efforts to get warm should help. Who woulda thunk it?

But you can't fix crazy, even with a length of 2" x4"! I used to do that sort of crazy, but now too old and arthritic for that. Decided it was time to build a heated garage!
