Can you run VIDA on A Chromebook?

From above, with Internet Exploder required, it sounds like a no.

It is a no and a yes.
NO: A Chromebook cannot run Internet Explorer. Different operating system.
Yes: You can run windows on a Chromebook in a virtual machine or you can set the hardware up to dual boot. Same two solutions used for a Intel mac or Intel Linux machines. At least in theory, most Chromebooks do not have much resources. They tend to be under power for this much processing.

IE Tab became a paid subscription ($39 USD per year) which seems like a lot of money for such a simple addon. Will this method be updated in the near future so we don't have to pay for IE Tab?
