It takes about a month in the cold to adapt. I’m now working outside in weather I was really uncomfortable in , one month ago.

1. Place a heating pad on the bottom of a box, plug it in and adjust setting.
2. Lay tools on top of heating pad.
3. Keep lid closed as much as possible.

I point a space heater at the tools and/or tool box. I especially like to hang the ratchets on the little bar across the front of the space heater. Of course my hands still get chilled.

But yes, if you are cold then efforts to get warm should help. Who woulda thunk it?

But you can't fix crazy, even with a length of 2" x4"! I used to do that sort of crazy, but now too old and arthritic for that. Decided it was time to build a heated garage!
