Hi,
New to forum, so Hi all.
I have been in the Son,s car today (57 plate V70) attempting to dry out the footwells. Dealer has put some, or all, of the electrical problems down to potential water around wiring in the footwells. They confirmed there was water in them but at £170 an hour I didnt want him to be paying out for what is essentially a drying out service.
The front carpet 'buckets' came out semi easy, trim plus front bolts of seats removed + a bit of swearing and they came out. Passenger soaking with puddles in situ.
The water has travelled under the heater pipes though to the rear and lifting the lead edge of rear passenger side carpet, there is another puddle needing carpet out to sort.
So far have seat completely out and central console loosened but rear carpet goes across both sides in one piece.
Any suggestions for getting this out easily or is it both seats out anf struggle like hell???
Any help gratefully received.
Rear carpet removal HELP PLEASE!
