I've got one from a 1998. That should work.

Does anyone knows if I can find a brand new female ecu plug ? I would like to make a flashing station, and to get a plug of a donor car you need to cut the loom :x
I've done just that a couple times at the junkyard: cut the loom, harvested the ECU plugs. It is the way to go for the flashing station!

I doubt you can still get them new.

Same. That's what I built my flashing harness from. JY ECU and OBD2 socket parts.

Just stumbled across this thread, and you beat me to the crack about the water-borne road trip. When the weather slacks up a bit, I'll harvest the harness from the '98 GLT parts bin. Now that metal prices are up, that one is headed for the crusher.

Can we save the engine and head on that puppy? If it’s just bent valves it’s good not to throw a good head away.

I'll give a concrete Maybe on that, depends on local help and my patience. It's not like there's any shortage of projects here. My big focus at the moment is the S60 T5/'00 XC transplant. I'll probably strip the S60 first though. Pulling the harness out of the '98 just seems like a short task mostly standing up during a break in the weather kinda thing. Not that southern Delaware can contest Albany on snotty weather.
Or our friends up in Calgary.
