Old topic.. I am different and i would personally start with injector testing. Its possibility injectors gets stuck after you try start car again ex. at grocery park and it won't easily when engine is hot.

Temp sensor is too another good to check with live data what it says or does it anything when cold and hot.

Fuel pump relay can be tested via tester too if it doesn't click then or so...

There is many possibilities need just start going around checking. :)

Edit. I just make clear I am not suggesting or racing where to start but bringing ideas what if scenarios which are still absolutely relevant.. I have idea of high pressure high sealed systems and problems I been dealing with them still on cars.
No one should be ever suggesting to just be ignorant of possibilities and overlook mechanical problems over electronically controlled moving solenoids no matter how fancy marketing shows them to be. They get still stuck like electrical starters (solenoids) no matter how fancy systems are got. Age and wear doesn't do any good on any systems specially where is moving parts.

I in work keep cursing example Japanese air valves made by omrom or relays or lpc as if i get bad quality samples which doesn't work right just even out of boxes.

Smart people check the fuel pump relay first. Stupider people go back and add this to the list after smart people post this.

(thanks erikv)

With today’s sealed tanks and high quality fuel filters fuel injectors don’t gunk up like they used to.

ECT and wiring are good no-code candidates, crank and cam sensors will usually give fault codes

Poor fuel pressure is another no-code candidate, but a tester will put that guessing game to an end.

It’s MVS POLICY to slap yourself in the face for posting “ I got a dribble of fuel at the valve so the pressure is ok”

I'd start with the fuel pump relay (jumper it), then move on to abscate's list.
