Not to turn the Abscate Rescue narrative into an Aviation tutorial, +1 on not turning into the dead engine. One of my multi-engine instructors liked to say "dead-foot turns turns into a dead pilot" ( loss of an engine instinctively leads to rudder input toward the live engine, hence 'dead-foot' ; it's diagnostic for which engine failed, and the aircraft has to 'crab' due to asymmetric thrust.)
Here is a short youtube from a veteran 777 pilot, kind of unpolished, but he does quite a bit of accident review vids, and answers some of the points raised here.
He did two earlier vids, just using screenshots from broadcast news outlets, so calls this an update.
