So while trying to source a cargo cover for my 94 T5 wagon I realized that there were brackets bolted onto the window frame in the trunk area.
I was wondering if they were for the 3rd row seat, but the car came w/o the 3rd row seat.

The parts numbers of these brackets are 9124500 and 3542959. A quick seatch didn't get me any results on these parts numbers. After remivung these brackets I could mount a regular cargo cover out of a 96 wagon.

Were the early cargo covers different?
Summer: 1996 855 R
Winter: 1994 855 T5M

No idea. Never seen that fitting. It is not the 3rd row seat mounting, not is it the load cover screen. The side rails under the window are something I have never seen before. What Cookeh says I have never heard of. Maybe a European only option?

This is the item I mean. But on inspection it cannot be correct, as the bracket is mounted higher than the luggage compartment.
