No volume on FM band only

We have a 2006 V70 with an HU850 radio. For some reason we get no sound out of the FM band. The radio will search and tune to FM stations but no sound. The AM band and CD player work just fine. Unfortunately my son is getting sick of AM radio and old CD's. Is there a DIY fix to this problem?

Get another HU850 from a self service junk yard and replace it, ~$30.00
