Got P0811 slipping trans code.
thinking to drain and fill, maybe will help.
did a couple drain and fills on my xc70, was easy.
but where to start on the C30? any good tutorial on that.

I didn't go through the link below but I think most Volvos will be the same as with many other cars. Start with a hose going to the radiator.

This will get you through the drain and fill. Look a hose to pump the rest out and fill again. Find the right hose and do as the second video. There are many other videos that go through the steps more clearly but I don't know of one similar to the P1.

Buy this once and do the entire flush. Perhaps it is so dirty that a drain and fill will not fix it and you just mix terrible fluid with the new. FCP does allows transmission fluid to be part of the Lifetime Warranty Exchange Program. I've use it on parts with success. Purchase the next 12 for a flush and they will refund this amount when you send the old oil / fluids back.

Ok,
Got a bit discouraged when a mechanic said my car wouldn’t have a dip stick and I would need a computer to monitor and control the fluid changes.
Well, as the Vida did show a dip stick. I poked in with a cable camera and found it. So planning to follow the VIDA steps.
Now to figure out how to get to it, sooo tight there, probably some reach point from under the car.
Update soon.

CAREFUL not to break that. The entire yellow handle just came off the metal stick as I check the trans fluid a couple of days ago. I have get pair of pliers to pull it out now.

As I need the car flat for ATF check and as my c30 is so low that I got to jack it up high. Is it ok to jack it up on 4 stands and run it through the gears, meaning on my automatic transmission using the smart “manual” tiptronic shifting. Would that even work with all wheels in the air? Or should I just ride around the block and jack it up again to check fluids?
